I REPAIR:

Any type of Drywall AND PLASTER Ceiling & Wall work such as…. Plumbers repairing your upstairs tub trap that was clogged full from your kids giving Whiskers a bath, Electricians who needed to run that wire RIGHT THERE, Angry Teenagers (because ‘Mom, YOU JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND!’), Lost and hungry Insects (sometimes their GPS breaks), Your husband’s ‘foot through the ceiling’ trick (after you TOLD HIM not to go up there!), water damage from the roof your brother in law fixed that ‘will never leak again’….AGAIN!

LET’S CUT TO THE CHASE:

Pricing, which is dependent on the complexity of the job, begins at a $175 Trip Charge (which includes up to 2 hours of service time) and $60 per hour thereafter, plus materials. AREAS BEYOND A 20 MINUTE RADIUS from our home base (the Webster area) will incur an additional charge of $25 MINIMUM for travel (sorry, the Saudi’s have to eat too, you know). Most repairs can be done in a few hours or less. There is no extra charge for custom weekend appointments to perform my artwork.

THE $50 FREE ESTIMATE:

To keep my prices low, I do not perform “FREE” estimates. I CAN however, give you an APPROXIMATE price, if you text to my phone or send via E mail, pictures of your project to the ‘contact me’ link above, or the phone number above, however, the APPROXIMATE price will be JUST THAT, APPROXIMATE! Hourly pricing protects both you AND I……and don’t forget…..if I’m there longer than Two Hours, I start losing money, so quickness with incredible quality is the goal here! My ‘warehouse on wheels’ can handle anything thrown at me that is either drywall or plaster related.

Anyone offering a “FREE” estimate has ALREADY lied to you because NOTHING is “FREE”!

Why would you want to do business with someone who starts out your business relationship by LYING to you?

HOW LONG WILL MY PROJECT TAKE? 

If I knew the answer to THAT one, I’d either be standing on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange or at the Roulette Wheel at a Casino in Vegas. I can give an APPROXIMATE Time Frame after pictures and descriptions are sent, but that’s all it will be is approximate. I am performing quality ARTWORK here. What I do you cannot go to school to learn or learn from a book or a video. The time it takes…..is the time it takes, and I will not be penalized for being a Master at my Craft and performing high quality artwork which is why MY COMPETITION……MY COMPETITION calls me: “THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS”!

THE METER STARTS:

WHEN I PULL UP to your job. Please have one lane of your driveway completely clear and open by the time I arrive.

THE METER STOPS:

AFTER all my tools are completely clean and all of my equipment is put back in my truck and all my truck doors are closed. My tools ARRIVE perfectly clean and they LEAVE perfectly clean. My cordless tools arrive charged and leave charged.

TEMPERATURE:

You want me done quickly, and I want to be done quickly. In order to get two, three, sometimes FOUR coats on in a few hours, I use FAST DRYING MUD, some of which dries in as little as FIVE MINUTES. To achieve the goal of mud drying fast, temperature and humidity play a BIG PART in dry time. Summer A/C temps must be at 68 degrees OR COOLER and Winter temps must be at 70-ISH. The meter is spinning, so dry time is very critical.

HAZARD PAY FEE:

Any contact with rodent excrement, mold (of any kind, color or strain), bees/ants/insects (alive or dead) or removal, repair or installation of insulation will carry a $50 HAZARD PAY FEE to handle said material(s) and to deal with said issue. I hope you think that this fee is a little outrageous and that having any of this fall in your face is no big deal, and will choose to cut out any affect areas yourself before we get there, if not I’ll do it for the EXTRA aforementioned fee.

HOUSEKEEPING:

Drywall Compound (“mud”) has a mind of own, it develops wings and will land on the ONE THING not covered. Clear countertops, and remove Fido’s food dish and all personal items out of the working area. Drywall Mud will DISINTEGRATE in warm water with no staining in the event it does happen to come into contact with something unintended. Let any clumps dry thoroughly before removing them as one piece, instead of smooshing it into the carpet, etc.

SANDING:

SANDING my finished ARTWORK is NOT included in the prices shown. Sanding will be VERY minimal, VERY easy, VERY quick and should be planned on by the person doing the painting. I will come back to sand if you insist, but I feel that a second Trip Charge is a little excessive for a few minutes work and I hope you do too! It’s worth it to ME to come back and sand, it’s NOT worth it to YOU to HAVE me come back and sand.

TEXTURED CEILING MATCHES:

Which are nearly impossible, are NOT guaranteed. I’ll be CLOSE all day long, but again, matching ceiling textures exactly is impossible. Most all drywallers not only use the same BRAND of mud, we use the same TYPE of mud, HOWEVER, over time, just like paint, lot batches, sunlight, dirt and smoke can and will discolor the original color.

FEEL VERY LUCKY:

If you don’t have to paint the entire ceiling after your repair, but plan on it.
